PersonalTraining

Work 1:1  with me to maximize your time exercising and rein in your fitness goals. I will build workouts that speak to both your strengths and to areas you seek to develop. 


If you are in the greater DC area, I am happy to meet you in person or via Zoom. 

I am also available through Zoom for anyone who would rather meet that way or who lives out of the area. Where there is a will, there will be a way for us to work together!

Fall into Winter!

After a good long rest after a good long row across the ocean*, I am SO looking forward to getting us all together to work hard, laugh deeply, and be a part of a great community again!


Veteran and new clients alike will start with the ever important foundational work of balance and correcting the asymmetries in our bodies. We will incorporate mobility exercises to increase our ranges of motion and glute and core work to enhance our strength work. Topping it all off will be cardio, agility, and explosive power work. 

These classes are for all levels - our goal is to keep you safe and challenged!

Tuesdays:           6:00 - 7:00 am              Kensington Parkwood Elementary School

                             *7:30 - 8:30 am            Forest Grove Neighborhood Park

Wednesdays:     6:00 - 7:00 am             Minter Place, Takoma Park

Thursdays:        *5:30 -6:30 pm             Takoma Park Middle School 

                                          Class will be held if there is enough demand

Fridays:               6:15 - 7:15 am             Glaizewood Ave, Takoma Park  

Saturdays:          9:30 - 10:30 am           Montgomery Hills Park

Thanksgiving Class - November 27. A free class for clients, family, and friends!


Winter Intersession class dates (12/27, 12/30, 12/31) to be confirmed at a later date. Please check back!


The details!

Classes are $18/class and clients register for the entire session. As this is a long session, payment may be made in 2 installments. 


All participants will need to complete a 2025 Waiver prior to attending class. Please do so if you have not already this year. 

 
​I recommend checking your email the night before class if inclement weather is forecast - rain is fine to workout in...thunder and lightning not so much. If class location has to be changed, an email will be sent out with the Zoom link included.


Please dress for outside classes and bring a yoga mat, water, and hand weights (5-15 lbs).  ​A hat, sunblock, and bug spray are highly recommended. As the weather gets cooler and the mornings get darker, please dress in layers and have a reflective vest/sash if commuting by foot/bike.


We also use exercise loop bands such as these that you may want to purchase.

Summertime, summertime!

More sunshine, more light, more opportunities to work hard, laugh deeply, and be part of a great community.  Let's get ready to warm up, activate our glutes, and improve our balance, core stability, and overall strength and functional mobility by completing bodyweight and dumbbell exercises at different tempos and with varying intensity levels.

Tuesdays:           7:30 - 8:30 am            Forest Grove Neighborhood Park

Fridays:               6:15 - 7:15 am            Glaizewood Ave, Takoma Park  

Saturdays:          9:30 - 10:30 am          Forest Grove Neighborhood Park

​7, 10, and 14 Class Cards can be used to take any class offered - any day, any location. Want more classes, just let me know!! Classes are $1​5 ​per class, so cards are $105, $150, and $210 respectively.
