Please try to attend the classes you are registered for. If you need to miss one of your regularly scheduled classes due to an emergency or illness, you may attend a different class in that same week or as soon as you are well as a make-up.
If you need to miss a class for work or a personal reason, please let me know in advance of your absence. You will be able to make - up the class by taking another class within a week. Please limit your make - ups to 2 classes.
Please notify me of a cancellation as soon as possible, but at least 24 hours in advance of a missed session. Sessions not cancelled 24 hours in advance will be charged in full. I will work with you to schedule a make-up session within the same week as the missed session when possible. As consistency is so important for our work, please limit these cancelations to 2/session to avoid incurring a charge.
For emergency situations, please notify me of a cancellation as soon as possible- mostly just to let me know you and yours are ok! There will be no charge for such a cancellation. For any emergency cancellation, I will work to find a make-up day as soon as the emergent situation has passed. I do understand that emergencies happen, but please reserve cancelling at the last minute for these such situations.
I, too, have to cancel classes/sessions at times. For personal training clients, we will try to schedule a make-up or, if that proves impossible, your account will be credited. For classes, an additional class may be added to the session if the calendar permits and the class participants favor such an option. If not, a credit will be applied to a future session.
I am quite comfortable traveling in inclement weather and so will hold any in-person sessions outside throughout the winter. If I feel traveling would be too dangerous, I reserve the right to request our class move to a Zoom format. Any Personal Training client can request a Zoom class at any time.
In-person classes will be held outside unless there is ice present, the real feel temperature is below 30 degrees, or there is active lightening in the immediate area. I reserve the right to move any class to a Zoom format given those conditions and will send an email regarding the change in class venue at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time.
